It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Alvin Braudy Sr. (Clarkesville, Georgia), who passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood Braudy and Dorothy Braudy; and his siblings, Martha, Bobby, Maggie, David, Rita and Elkanah.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Vandiver; his children, Douglas Alvin "Al" Braudy, Jr. (Lynda), Leila Ann Braudy Walker, Denise Andrea Langley (Glen), Rhonda McGhee and Richard Burks; his grandchildren, Jessica Braudy Truitt, Shane Braudy, Sean Walker, Angelica Walker Wilborn, Mitchell Smith, Steven Langley, Amber Langley, Chris McGhee, Jordan McGhee, Tori McGhee, Darius Burks, Richard Burks, Jr., Madison Burks and Marcharii Watkins; and his great grandchildren, Levi, Lillie, Logan, Kinsleigh, Abel, Berkeley, Oaklee, Johnny, Shyanne, Liam, Myla, Maxon, Ellie and Georgia. He is also survived by his loving wife, five children, fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
