Etta Merle Shirley Aycock Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Etta Merle Shirley Aycock of Clarkesville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron David and Rosa Pearl Moore Shirley; her husband Thaddeus Lamar Aycock; her siblings, A. D. Shirley, Joseph Earl Shirley (Lorraine) and Mildred Shirley Burdette (Roy); and her grandson Matthew John Jaster.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Elizabeth Aycock (Kristy), Johnnie Gale Zurek, Daniel James Aycock and Roy Herbert Aycock (Beth); and her sister-in-law Louise Shirley (Edna Jo Shirley). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
