We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2023, at the age of 84, Henry Dwight Mercer of Clarkesville, Georgia, born in Blakely, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Dr. Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Vera Holcomb Mercer; his sons, Rusty Mercer (Sharon) and Stephen Mercer (Adrienne); his grandchildren, Austin Mercer (Hilary), Sam Mercer, Clay Mercer, Fletcher Mercer and Millie Kate Mercer; and his sisters, Janice Simpson Puckett (Benny) and Kay Reich (Mike).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to St. Jude or to Doctors Without Borders.
