He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Pritchett Franklin; his children, James Phillip Franklin (Teresa), Brett Allen Franklin (Maureen) and Karen Davis (Dean); his grandchildren, Matthew Franklin, Steven Franklin, Kyle Franklin, Madison Davis and Joshua Davis; his stepgrandchildren, Cassie, Tony, Paul and Jordan; and his siblings, William Eugene Franklin and Irene Swaim.
