He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Herbert Skinkle and Elizabeth Graham Skinkle; and his siblings-in-law, Grady Brooks, Jimmy Lawing, Betty and Tip Weldon.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kennedy Skinkle; his son Lee; his daughter-in-law Amanda Skinkle of Gainesville; his daughter Laurie; his son-in-law Dennis Gallman of Demorest; his grandchildren, Johnathan Skinkle, Tori Skinkle, Marley Gallman and Mason Gallman; his pets, Baxter and Dabo; and his sisters-in-law, Mona Brooks of Clarkesville, Carla Lawing of Taylorsville and Nancy Kennedy of Clayton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and extended family.
