He was predeceased by: his parents, Spicer Sam Sugg and Katie Moore Sugg; his wife Lizzie Sugg; his sisters, Jean Parker and Joan; and his brother-in-law Dave Stiverson.
He is survived by: his son Coty; his daughter-in-law Jessica Sugg; his nieces, Candy Jones and Carol Warner; and his siblings-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Hazle, Howard, Judy Ledford, Virginia Frankum, Janice Ledford, Charles Pittman and Charles Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews from his wife.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hillside Memorial Chapel (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
