He is survived by: his children, David Blackstone (Chris), Karen Rushnell (Scott), Daren Nickell (April), Denisa Smith and Ryan Nickell; his grandchildren, Bo, Tara, Kalin, Kally, Jessica, Kaleb, Kara and Mason; and his sister Sharon Ploughe of North Carolina. He is also survived by his ten great-grandchildren.
