It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Coons (Clarkesville, Georgia), born in Habersham, Georgia, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Edith Wikle; her husband Earl B. Coons; and her brothers, Jesse Ernest Wikle, Jr., William Charles Wikle and Jack Ryals Wikle.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hall (Sam) of Clarkesville and Jeffery Coons (Terri) of Milton; her grandchildren, Justin Schapansky, Joshua Coons (Melissa), Arianne Coons, Callie McNeal (Matt) and Veronica Coons; and her great grandchildren, Keller Oliver, Dylan Schapansky, Caroline Schapansky, Elle McNeal, Samuel McNeal, Rosemary Coons and Wesley Coons.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillside Memorial Chapel (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery (12030 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523).
