We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2025, at the age of 99, Martha Geraldine Holcomb (Clarkesville, Georgia), born in Habersham, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Martha departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Martha may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Martha leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pardue and Herclean Pardue; her siblings, John "Pedro" Pardue (Jinx), Brenda Porter and Aliene Ray (Earl); and her husband Walter Franklin Holcomb.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hicks, Douglas Holcomb (Sue) and Randy Holcomb (Angela); her sister Ernestine "Tootsie" McEntire; and her child Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Children's Ministry, or to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
