She was predeceased by: her parents, D. C. Wheeler and Cora Lee Wheeler; her husband William Hal Ellison, Jr.; her son Anthony "Tony" Ellison; and her siblings, Doug, Junior, Paul Wheeler, Blondine Tomlin, Rosalee Whitworth and Dot Hill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa "Terrie" Wade (Wesley), Sharon Miller (Brian), Melanie Cunningham (Bart) and Laurel Ellison; and her siblings, Bill Wheeler (Elaine), Randy Wheeler, Linda Sanders and Andrea Catlett. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
