Lynd of Clarkesville, GA; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Tamara Lynd of Carlsbad, NM; his daughter Ashleigh; his son-in-law Don Allen Neumeyer of Tulsa, OK; his sister Joan Butson; his niece Christina Ingles of Merritt Island, FL; his brother Craig (Carolyn Scott Lynd) of Ocoee, FL; and his grandchildren, Cody Shaffer, Rylee Lynd, Grace Bunch and Chase Flores.

“Phil and i served together in Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232, in Vietnam in 1972-73. We were paired as a crew. I was a pilot and Phil was the Radar intercept Officer (RIO) in the F4 Phantom aircraft. Phil was incredibly talented in his aircrew responsibilities and a great guy. We flew over 100 combat missions together. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing and send my condolences to his family. Rest in Peace, Phil; you have left some big shoes to fill.”
