Syble leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Syble’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Maynard Teachey and Elizabeth Honeycutt Teachey; and her husband Russell James Holliday. She is survived by: her children, Marica Everett (late Thomas) of Sautee-Nacoochee, GA, Tina Holliday of Mechanicsville, VA and Russell Holliday of Clarkesville, GA; her grandchildren, Colonel Ben Everett (Catherine) of Fort Campbell, KY and Ethan Everett (Aaron Michelle) of Chamblee, GA; her great grandchildren, Georgia and Maren Everett of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky; and her brothers, William Teachey (Linda) of Rocky Point, NC and Noble Teachey (Jane) of Rocky Point, NC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the North Topsail Shores Baptist Church.
