He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Thurmond and Ruby Thurmond; and his brother Roger Thurmond. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Elizabeth (Jeff); his wife Brenda Spivey; and his brothers, Bruce Thurmond and Doug Thurmond.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Ken's memory to Clarkesville Baptist Church and/or the Habersham Gideons - North Camp.
