She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jackson Friddell and Nellie Mae Lee Friddell; her stepson Kenny Stephens; her stepgrandson Joe Stephens; and her husband Gerald Stephens.

She is survived by: her children, Renee Baskett (Larry) and Keith Austin (Lisa); her stepchildren, Jean McGriff (Danny) and Jerry Stephens (Janey); and her grandchildren, Kenny Baskett, Michael Baskett, Brandon Austin, Ryan Austin, Jason Laughlin, Amber Hightower, Greg McGriff, Jason McGriff, Jeff Stephens and Lisa Rahn.
