She is survived by: her children, Mellie NeSmith (Phyllis) of Claxton and Blonnie Kay Moncrief (Tony) of Claxton; her grandchildren, Tiffany Massey (Bubba) of Claxton, Colby Moncrief of Claxton and Cody NeSmith (Kirsten) of Claxton; her great grandchildren, Emily Moncrief, Meredith, Waylan Massey, Bryce Moncrief, Samantha NeSmith and Savannah NeSmith; her sister-in-law Alethia Nowell; and her stepsons, Lowell Warren (Rosemary) and Randy Warren (Deborah). She is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417).
