It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dee Dee Michelle Daniel of Claxton, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her grandparents, John Lanier, Dahlia Lanier Mosley and W. C. Mosley; her uncle Danny Lanier; and her grandparents, Virgil and Lorene Benton.

She is survived by : her son Justin Daniel of Claxton; her parents, Joan Hendrix of Claxton and William Benton (Yvonne) of Richmond Hill; and her brothers, John Benton (Marie) of Claxton and Ross Benton (Catherine) of Lovettsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417).
