The memory of Faye Daniel Hawkins (Claxton, Georgia), who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Dub Hawkins; her parents, Grady G. Daniel and Reta Anderson Daniel; her son Keith Daniel Hawkins; her sister Theonell Wickersham; and her granddaughter Mariel Christina Story.
She is survived by: her children, Byron Dale Hawkins, Alesa Faye Story (Martin) and Mary Denise Picus (Arthur); her grandchildren, Keith Daniel Story and Taylor Nicole Hogan (Hunter); her great grandchildren, Carson Blaze Hogan, McKinley Mae Hogan and Laiken Lee Hogan; and her grandchildren, Lauren Nicole Picus and Matthew Alexander Picus. She is also survived by other family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bay Branch Primitive Baptist Church (393 Bay Branch Church Rd, Claxton, GA 30417).
