As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Martha may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Howard and Alma Brannen; her husband Brantley; and her sister Sara Ramsey. She is survived by: her children, Janis Lane (Johnny) of Rome and Robert Chester (Robin) of Albany; and her grandchildren, Kim Jones (Scott), Brant Lane (Michelle), Trent Lane (Brandie), Alyson Chester Moffit (Dan) and Wesley Chester. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
