She was predeceased by: her parents, B. G. Tippins and Joy Tippins; and her sisters, Cathy Haire and Nan Peoples. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Strickland of Lilburn; her sons, Jay Strickland of Blacksburg, VA. and Matt Strickland (Crystal) of Grayson; her siblings, Glenda Threet (John) of Claxton and Bascom Tippins (Susan) of Dawsonville; and her granddaughter Morgan Eisner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
