We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, at the age of 80, Roy Rogers (Claxton, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let us carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Roy may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Attis Rogers and Mini Lee Strickland Rogers; his wife Brenda Cadwell Rogers; and his brothers, Clifford Rogers, Hugh Rogers and R. T. Rogers.

He is survived by : his sons, Keith Rogers (Sandy) of Claxton and Bryan Rogers (Tammy) of Dublin; his grandchildren, Tyler Rogers (Jena), Jack Rogers and Charley Rogers; and his great grandchild Attisyn Rogers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bay Branch Primitive Baptist Church (393 Bay Branch Church Rd, Claxton, GA 30417).
