He was predeceased by : his parents, Ambrous Oliver Findley Sr. and Jessie Ruth Harris; his sister Jayme G. Strickland; his brother-in-law Spencer Murphy; and his nephew Richard "Dicky" Strickland.

He is survived by : his wife Wanda Scaggs Findley of Clayton, GA; his children, Emily Findley of Portland, OR, Ben Findley (Jenna) of Clayton, GA, Christie Vollmer (David) of Pelzer, SC and Craig Anderson of Jacksonville, FL; his sister Emma R Murphy of Valrico, FL; his grandchildren, Gracie Tucker, Lillie Vollmer and Brian Vollmer; his nephews, Tim Strickland, Albert "Ab" Strickland and Bill Murphy; and his close friends, Drew, Margo Taylor, Molly and Chris Ledford.
