It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dexter Haines Allen of Clayton, Georgia, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Dexter Haines departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dexter Haines. Though Dexter Haines may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Allen and Treva Lingenfelter Allen; his daughter Sherilyn Bogle; and his sister Pam Barker. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Allen; his son-in-law Jim Bogle; his brother Daryl Allen (Jan); and his siblings-in-law, Tiffany Thomas (Jonathon), Amanda Butler (Stephen), Rachel Boesch (Samuel) and Jared Bogle (Emiline). He is also survived by brother-in-law, Ray Barker; grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Clayton Baptist Church (87 S Church St, Clayton, GA 30525).
