She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Richards and Rosa Whittington Richards; her husband Dr. Joseph Willis Strother; her son Joseph Willis "Joey" Strother, Jr.; and her siblings, Elvin Tubre, Charles Earl Richards and Katherine Tubre Johnson.
She is survived by: her sister Judith Richards Sleath of Casper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
