She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Short and Eleanor Short of Norlina, NC.; and her brother Michael Short. She is survived by: her son Kristian Michael Chapman (Stephanie); her grandson Tyler of Mills River, NC.; her siblings, Carlton, Larry (Janet Short), Ronald (Nancy Short) and Mary Ann Lane (Robert Mattox); and her sister-in-law Hazel Short of Norlina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
