Though Ellen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey Houston Roberts and Frankie Roberts Lunsford; her husband Truie Miller; her son Tony Nathan Welch; her grandchildren, Caleb Bill Welch and Bryar Overholt; and her siblings, Huey Roberts and Betty Roberts Kostryk.
She is survived by: her children, Lowanda Welch Kilby (Rodney Kilby, Sr.), Bill Raymond Welch (Connie) and Laura Welch Darnell; and her sister Nancy Roberts Deal (Oss). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren.
