He is survived by: his wife Susan Welch; his children, Jennifer Welch, April (David Adcock), Kelsey (Scott Thompson) and Josh Gragg (Louwanda); his grandchildren, Jaxon, Trace, Chantz, Knox, Miley, Johnathan, Micah, Adam and Naomi; his aunt Squirrel (Carolyn Welch); and his brothers, Tony Welch and Mark Beck.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Faron's name to the Rabun County High School Athletic Department.
