We announce the death of John Houck (Clayton, Georgia), born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 43. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew John will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold, Lois Houck, James and Rita Cecil. He is survived by: his parents, Norman Houck and Rita Cecil Houck; and his siblings, Amanda Houck, Joseph Houck and Martha Owens. He is also survived by three nieces; and two nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home (451 Warwoman Rd, Clayton, GA 30525).
