He was predeceased by : his father John Stancil Sr.; and his wife Kay Sheffield Stancil. He is survived by : his children, Cindy Smith (Roger) of Salem, SC, Stacy Stancil of Seneca, SC and David Stancil of Seneca, SC; and his sister Ruth Eastwood of Jacksonville, FL.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
