She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie R. Cook and George D. Cook Jr.; her husbands, Jefferson Davis Beck III (Ned) and Charles Lee Darnell, Sr.; and her brother-in-law Sam Beck.

She is survived by: her children, Jefferson Davis Beck (Jay), Rebecca Beck Clark (Tim) and Keshia Wynette Darnell (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Karlie Beck, Callie Darnell and Carson Carver; and her brothers, George D. Cook III (Marilyn) and William Cook (Becky). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and special friends, as well as her faithful canine companion.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Antioch United Methodist Church.
