She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Watts and Pearl Manley Watts; her husband William Douglas "Bill" Murray; her son Robert D. Murray; and her sisters, Edith Soseby and Mary Young.

She is survived by : her daughter Cathy Paulette Murray Carpenter; her daughter-in-law Jewell Murray; her grandsons, Robert Lee Carpenter and John D. Murray (Holly); and her great grandchildren, Luke and Samuel Murray.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
