He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Plott and Evie "Watts" Plott. He is survived by : his wife Margie Plott; his children, Melodie James (Adam), Thomas Plott and Timothy Plott; and his grandchildren, Shalayleigh James, Abigayl James, Shamus James and Teagan James.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (423 Warwoman Rd, Clayton, GA 30525). A burial was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
