He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Hollis and Georgia Crumley Hollis; his brothers, Jimmy Hollis, Ronnie Thomas and Herman Lamar Hollis; and his girlfriend Patricia Lowman.

He is survived by : his siblings, Pat Haynes of Gainesville, Glenda Taylor of Monroe, Linda McAllister of Hartwell, Mike Hollis of Gainesville, Steve Hollis of Gainesville and Glenn Thomas of Hartwell.
