With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Arthur Prater of Clermont, Georgia, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Arthur Prater to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Prater; his daughters, Dr. Barbara Rowan (James Rowan) and Michelle Prater; his granddaughter Amanda Rowan; his granddaughter-in-law Kadyn Harper; and his brothers, Robert Wade (Lolita) and Tom Wade (Pam).

The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in Memory of Jim.
