He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Butler and Minnie Smith Butler; and his siblings, Carlis Butler, Kenneth James Butler and Charlotte Gunter.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Butler; his stepdaughters, Mary Saxon Worley and Martha Saxon Holbrook; and his siblings, Earl Butler, Doris Byers, Deborah Jones and Judy Senter. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Yonah View Memorial Gardens (3265 Helen Hwy, Cleveland, GA 30528).
