As Betty departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guss McKenzie and Alma McKenzie. She is survived by: her son Tommy; her daughters-in-law, Amy Vaughn and Kathy Vaughn; her husband Willie Monroe Adams; and her sons, Stoney Vaughn and Joe Vaughn. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park South Funeral Home (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park South Chapel (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
