He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Garrett and Violet Garrett; his wife Carolyn Garrett; and his brothers, John Garrett and James Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Stacy Michelle Stephens (Joel) and Bobby Garrett (Julie); his grandchildren, Rob Stephens (Raychaell), Ryan Stephens and Ava Garrett; his great grandchildren, Harland and Emma Stephens; and his siblings, Carol Devaney (Bill), Linda Brown, Leonard Garrett (Delores) and Allenne Hughes (Rickey). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home (355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Restoration Worship Center (5672 Thompson Bridge Rd, Murrayville, GA 30564).
