Though David Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Smith of Cleveland; his children, Landen Gordon of Cleveland, Harley Smith of Dayton, OH, David Smith, Jr. (Amber) of Melbourne, FL, Caressa Hancock (Stephen) of Cornelia and Camille Smith of Norcross; and his brother Phillip Smith (Claudia) of Wayco, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
