David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David John Ravan and Asia Forrester Ravan; his daughters, Lisa Beck and Leigh Swink; his granddaughter Cammie Dodd; and his great grandchild Silas Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Ravan; and his daughters, Rhonda (Lamar Hamilton), Tracie (Tim Carter), Misty (Larry Deck) and Lynn (William Bruce). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barrett Funeral Home (118 N Brooks St, Cleveland, GA 30528). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Diamond Hill Baptist Church (2074 Diamond Hill Church Rd, Maysville, GA 30558).
