We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2023, at the age of 73, James Darrell Dean of Cleveland, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Darrell Dean to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sandy Dean and Bonnie Dean; his siblings, Verlon Dean and Judy; and his brother-in-law Skip Cathey.

He is survived by : his significant other Connie Sue; his daughter Erica; his son-in-law Eddie Mitchell; his son Roger; his daughter-in-law Juliana Dean; his grandsons, Baylon Mitchell (Brianna), Logan Mitchell, Nolan Dean and Rhett Dean; and his sisters, Brenda (Gary Heffner) and Sharon (Ed Malcom). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital c/o 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
