He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eldridge Wood and Grace Winkler Wood; his siblings, William George Wood, June Elizabeth Wood and Vernon Eldridge Wood; and his former wife Doris Ann Wood (Adams).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lois Wood (Dixon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home (118 N Brooks St, Cleveland, GA 30528). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
