He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Atkins Jr. and Beatrice Wooten Atkins; and his siblings, Joe Benny Atkins and Kathy Grizzle. He is survived by : his siblings, Carl Atkins (Fannie) of McCaysville, Betty Cingel of Cleveland, Pat Etris of Dahlonega, Ronnie Atkins of Lewisburg and Mike Atkins of Cleveland; and his close friend Gail Head. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
