He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mark Hess Herr and Shirley Ann Reed Herr; his daughter Kathleen Herr; his son-in-law Patrick Edwards of Glen Burnie, MD; and his siblings, Bonnie Scotten of Galesville, MD, Jim (Nancy Herr), Shirley Brodsky (JC Hilt), Mike (Janet Herr), Vince (Diana Herr), Brett (Shirl Herr), Andy Herr of Cleveland, GA, Robin Herr of Winder, GA and Clifford Herr of Canton, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the The Mockingbird Foundation, a charity that provides access to music education for children across the country, in Norman's memory.
