It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Nix of Cleveland, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Nix to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul (Polly Abernathy Cantrell) and Sautee; her siblings, Eula Mae Nix and Tommy Cantrell; and her brother-in-law Dr. Gerald Nix.

She is survived by : her husband Douglas Nix; her children, Ketna Casper (Tommy) of Cleveland, Rev. Nathan Nix (Tina) of Cleveland and Katrice Brooker (James) of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Jasmyn Casper, Cassidy, Layla Nix, Lilli Kate Brooker, Jordan, Jonah Casper, Caleb Nix and Judd Brooker; her siblings, Cathey McGinnis (Bruce), Tony Cantrell (Tressy) and Fritz Abernathy (Carol); and her siblings-in-law, Melinda Cantrell, Ellis Nix and Rodney Nix (Louise).

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donation be made to the Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 142 Shoal Creek Church Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.
