He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Thomas and Laura Garrett Thomas; and his siblings, Pat Welborn, Bonnell Thomas, Barney Thomas, O'Nell Thomas, James Thomas and Jerry Thomas.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Thomas; his grandchildren, Nathan Thomas and Stephanie Strout; his great grandchildren, Caden Thomas, Taigen Thomas and Madison Hollis; his siblings, Jimmie Ruth McGee, Herman Thomas, Jacki Fain, Kenneth Thomas and Robin Thomas (Sherry); and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Thomas, Mary Thomas, Vivian Thomas and Richard Welborn. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
