He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Garrett, Sr. and Nancy Hazel Crumley Garrett; and his siblings, Gloria Oglesby and John Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Garrett; his children, Christy Garrett Crumbley, Sonya Garrett Hoopaugh (Perry) and Billy Garrett (Alison); his grandchildren, Dustin Garrett, Zachary Hoopaugh, Danielle Hoopaugh, Matt Crumbley (Lindsey), Katie Dant (Chris), Briley Garrett and Braden Garrett; his great grandchildren, Calvin Crumbley, Lucy Crumbley, Evan Crumbley and Josiah Dant; and his siblings, Pat Garrett (Brenda), James Garrett, Ruth Yancey (David), June Widener (Llewellyn), Mary Helen Koostra, Shelby Garrett and Shirley Sego. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
