He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Edwards and Bessie Edwards; and his siblings, G. B. Edwards, William Edwards, Noah Edwards, Jr., Virginia Edwards and Audrey Edwards.

He is survived by: his sibling's children, Ruby Williams, Judy Cope, Derrel Edwards and Jimmy Edwards.
