It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Cecil Lashley of Cobb, Georgia, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Luther Cecil departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Luther Cecil. Though Luther Cecil may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Lashley and Mary Bertie Britt Lashley; and his son Jeff Lashley. He is survived by: his wife Mariann Lavender Lashley; his son Steve Lashley (Dawn Lashley); his grandchildren, Nikki Lashley, Sara Lashley and Kelly Pantone (Billy Pantone); and his brothers, Gary Lashley, John Wayne Lashley, Earl Lacey, Lonnie Lacey and James Lacey. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Baptist Church.
