She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus A.'Gus'McPherson and Mertice Lee Dunn McPherson; and her siblings, Horace Augustus McPherson of Marietta, GA and Mertice Evelyn McPherson Hacker of Conroe, TX.. She is survived by: her children, Susan Foster Kersey of Marietta, GA and Stephen LeVaughn Foster (Joni) of San Antonio, TX; her grandson Tom William Kersey of Marietta, GA; and her stepgranddaughter Jessica Rhyne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
