He is survived by: his wife Martha Collins; his daughter Regina Sutton (Jamie); his siblings, Kathryn Fordham Creech (Richard) and Wayne Collins (Ernestine); his half-brother J. J. Collins; and his grandchildren, Tripp Sutton, Tiffany Hilderbrandt (Jeffery) and Brooke Sumner.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Lake Cemetery (17017 Lake Church Rd, Metter, GA 30439).
