She is survived by: her son Daniel Gilbert Powell of Athens; her grandchildren, Alex Powell (Coker) of Spartanburg and Stephanie Ann Powell Holcombe (Tom Elliot) of Bogart, Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Sadie Powell, Net Powell and Lennon Daniel Holcombe.
